First of all I love using this lock, I have used it on my 45 gallon aquarium. Unfortunately I had to take it out as most of my fish are nocturnal like plecos and eels. I paid a good price for my exotic fish and they hid in the castle all the time, I wasn't even sure if they were alive. Another reason I pulled it out of the tank was because it has sharp edges and there are dozens of them! Then I took it out of my 45 gallons and put it in my 30 gallons. Since I lost the fish deep in the castle, I thought it was eaten. If you don't choose your fish wisely you will regret it as the ammonia levels in my tanks have gone up. I recommend you use it for breeding aquariums such as mollies or guppies. I no longer use this part of the castle as I have mostly nocturnal fish. Before using in the aquarium, make sure to use the grinder on sharp edges.
