I had to enlarge the hole in the cigarette lighter. I took out a piece and used a rat tail file. It took a few minutes to get the hole the right size. I connected the cables in reverse order and the charger didn't work. I pulled up the information and saw that the charger was protected from the inside. That's when I realized that I must have routed the cables incorrectly. I fixed it in a few minutes and everything worked great.
