Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Daystar Universal Pair Full Size Shock Boots - Shock Therapy Bag Included | Black, KU20002BK | Made in USA by Brett Jarvis

Conical shock absorption shoe. Does not work well with steering damper or long travel shock absorbers

Material quality seems reasonable for the price but not suitable for my applications. Comes with a zip tie like most others (some brands come with hose clamps. You'll probably need a second tie for the small end as it tends to pull away from the top end. The boot is tapered and too tight on the shock body This causes it to stretch instead of sliding over the shock if pulled down too far causing it to pop out of the top of the shock, but unless you pull the boot too hard it won't compress enough ( too much material). and slides over the top of the shock the other way. It should push against the shock but slide freely as it expands or contracts. Probably works for my travel shocks for now as they are too long and only 3" allow travel. Probably look for shorter shocks with built in dust cover. They won't work with my handlebar shock Vogo dampeners as it requires a full range of motion and they are too flimsy/thin for that like other brands I have used. look for Monroe boots if they haven't also switched to skinny boots. l. Otherwise, just remove the trunk from the damper and take a chance.
