I built my own computer 3-4 years ago and can't remember where all the connections went. My PC case originally came with red LED fans on the front. I wanted to replace these fans with RGB fans to switch themes instead of always having red. I bought these fans because of the price and because they "looked" like they would light up everything including the fan, but I was wrong. The lights are only on the edge of the fan. So if you set the color to static, that's all you'll see. The rainbow color will be brighter, but the solid color will be weaker. Second, there were no instructions in the kit! It's been ages since I've played around with connections and a little guide might help! I had to go back to the listing and look for instructions to figure out how to connect the fans. Third, they didn't have LONG screws to attach them to the front of the case, only short ones. Luckily I was able to use the old screws from my old fans, otherwise I'm not sure what I would have done. Generally they are good for cheap fans but I still watch them to see if they fail. I will update this review when they do!
