I was skeptical at first but these stainless steel folding straws are very comfortable. They fit into almost any cup, mug or bottle. They have a collapsible straw cleaner that fits into a collapsible straw for storage AND they have what appears to be a teflon insert between the sections that seems to make sucking easier. You'd think air would be sucked in through the areas where the straws are being squeezed, but even if you get down to about 1 inch of liquid, there will still be suction. your drink. I will probably look for other sets for my kids.
