Terrible experience with this product. I followed all the instructions to the tee. Fully assembled according to instructions. I just added small pieces of chopped apple, cucumber and celery while the rotor was already working using a plastic scraper. When first used, smoke came out of the engine and car. I disassembled the car to leave only the bare body (the main body) and smoke came out. Also, the blade and part of the filter appeared to rotate slightly off-center, causing erosion and melting of the round plastic rim on the funnel. Also, any use of the machine could result in it moving across the countertop, even when fully primed. So I had to struggle to keep the car in place, turning the engine on and off while pushing fruit and veg with the plastic pusher. The machine is also very noisy, but I think that's partly to be expected from a centrifugal juicer, and as this was my first juicer, I don't know if it's any louder than the average centrifugal juicer. Really disappointing experience. I don't want another car. i just want my money back
