Whoever is a genius says there's a school of thought

I've pulled tendons in both elbows and both wrists by overzealously tugging and tugging at the potting soil. Being 85 years old, I have to understand that my muscles are stronger than the tendons that connect them to the bones. My genius occupational therapist says there's a school of thought that believes this disease called epicondylitis is here to stay. annoying for up to two years, no matter what you do with it. I've also read that it's possible to continue playing tennis while the tennis elbow variant is healing. So it seems possible to take care of an injury carefully, but continue to act. In my case, all but one of the eight irritated attachment points largely resolved—with ice, stretch, and moderation. Residual golfer's elbow (e.g. medial epicondylitis) is still very sensitive and this strap was a real godsend as it puts precise pressure on the attachment point when the person activates the muscle. It seems that she supports me on many occasions when I use this hand around the house. I find it comforting to wear and I long to put it on. It works great with a long sleeve shirt as it can be moved throughout the day as you switch positions. When I'm doing more active things, like holding a chainsaw, I tighten the strap and then put ice on it. I think that with time this injury will also heal. I have also used a Serola Sacral Belt and cannot say enough about the precision and intelligence that goes into their products.
