I received this product in exchange for an honest review through the Revain Vine program. Seller's Trademark: JINGLING lists them as "JINGLING 30mm Coated Diamond Cutting Discs Rotary Blade Cutting Discs 10 Pack". I use the Fored*m rotary tool for stone work and find it useful for cutting through tiny turquoise nuggets or other small but valuable stones. Losing a big, fat diamond saw blade really eats up a tiny piece of rock! It's perfect. Photo 1 shows the package I received. Figure 2 shows a cutter mounted on a mandrel. All diamond grit drills, including these cutting discs, MUST be used with water to lubricate and cool the drill. This is necessary to eliminate grinding and reduce tool wear. I've found that using a non-hardening plumbing putty to create a dam around the surface to be primed works well when you can't direct a steady stream of water at a cut or cut underwater in a shallow plastic container. ALSO, you NEED to know that this will slowly "grind" the glass or stone, not "cut" like a serrated blade or burr through wood or metal. With this tool, the diamond grit is applied to the outside in a thin layer; much more expensive versions use a thicker layer of sintered diamond. Excessive pressure will strip the diamond from the coating and damage or render your diamond bit unusable - slow and intermittent light pressure allows water to contact the surface and carry away crushed debris. Remember to protect your hands and eyes as shards of glass and stone can seriously injure you if thrown off the diamond wheel at high speed. I recommend JINGLING 30mm diamond blades. They are valuable and work as they should.
