Review on πŸ‘ž OLUKAI Mens Nohea Moku Shoes: Stylish Slip-On Loafers for Men by Lawrence Crespo

The only shoe you'll need for three weeks in Italy

Worn on the plane and every day on our recent trip to Rome, Pompeii, Naples, Sorrento and Sicily. I've walked a lot, 115 miles according to the iPhone app, often on bumpy roads (about two thousand years old!) and trails. They were comfortable and didn't wear out much on all covered floors. This is a great travel shoe that won't trip over a metal detector and slips off easily on long international flights. They're vegan, so nobody had to kill anything for you to walk. The upper of the shoe is made of mesh fabric and is therefore in no way waterproof. Elastic ribbon laces that initially seemed too silly to wear. However, they are quite practical and don't stretch as unusably as I thought, the laces are still secure. Here is a photo of the shoe at the end of the journey, on the train from Milazzo to Catania, with no visible wear after intensive use. As for fit, sizing is correct, no adjustment needed, at least for me in a size 10.

Pros
  • Insole: dual density polyurethane, PU gel insert
Cons
  • Upgradeable
