Usually cheaper leather leashes are not flexible. They are hard and abrasive on hands. The reason I prefer a leather leader is the comfort for the handler compared to synthetics. These leashes are very comfortable, have a soft feel and are also flexible, making them very comfortable for working with pulling dogs. They are strong enough that I still feel safe and confident that they won't let me down when working on a leash. I have bought maybe 5 now as my wife keeps giving them away to friends and customers who praise them or ask where to get them. I need another one as the last one I received didn't even get my hands on it and will be ordered soon.
