Review on Tripp Lite Inverter Compact PV150 by Jon Robertson

I need this for an IBM ThinkPad T61p that I use in my cars for setup and diagnostics. I've tried a few others without much luck. I don't know if it's just me or if it's a ThinkPad thing, but ThinkPad seems to be picky when it comes to inverters. A 450w inverter I tried turned off immediately as soon as I turned on the laptop. Strange. Anyway it works fine. I bought it based on many recommendations from the ThinkPad forums. I'm using the 90w ThinkPad brick my T61p came with and haven't had any issues. I haven't tried my W500 yet, but from the posts on the ThinkPad forums, that will be the max output of this inverter - maybe that's too much. That's way too little for something as big as 550. I've been using TrippLite products for years and this product is as good as anything I've used. Good device and I can only recommend it. Edward
