I wasn't entirely sure about the product when considering the order. Many of the reviews weren't very good, with written reviews suggesting that the traps aren't actually doing what they're supposed to do. I have cats, a dog and children. I always have a lot of lint and fur in my underwear, and I was hoping to reduce the amount of this dirt clogging the washer (and subsequently the dryer). I LOST MY MONEY TRYING THIS PRODUCT. After four loads of laundry, there was practically nothing left in the traps. I didn't clean them between washes just to see what had built up over multiple loads. Nothing. Nothing has accumulated. If you've seen another product that is a rubber disc with a carved paw print, give it a try. I bought two from Wal-Mart and saw that they were advertised on Revain. I throw them in the dryer and noticed more lint in the dryer trap. I've also noticed that less wool is left on the clothes when they come out of the dryer.
