I bought a pair of these "ride boat shoes" to use as indoor shoes. To fit them I had to cut 1 inch slits on either side of the tongue to make them wide enough for my feet. Even then they looked like macho leather ballerinas. I would never wear them in public. I would be too embarrassed to see her wearing it. Barely comfortable. I suspect they will look pretty elegant in sizes that fit people in whatever country they are made. The country of origin is not specified, I think India, Vietnam or China. Don't waste your money. As always, your experience will undoubtedly be different from mine, just be careful what you get yourself into.
