I don't use it for the main purpose but they suit me.
I don't use them for ski ropes or inner tubes but as a quick hitch to tow my kids when they get tired from kayaking. They are about a foot long and have quick connect connectors. I have a looped rope on my kayak and can quickly hook it up and move on.
