Review on Marshall Tufton: Black Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Unmatched Sound Quality & Portability by Demarco Vonk

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Extremely good sound in a "small " package - audiophiles say: buy it!

I have a TON of wireless speakers. I have Bose, Bang, Aiwa, Altec, other Marshalls etc. This speaker is the best I have. The sound is exceptional. Portability is a feature I really wanted in a speaker of this size. And surprisingly, the battery life is really good. I've left it unplugged for over a few weeks with limited play and the charge hasn't expired. I listened to it at about 75% volume for 6 hours straight and it kept ringing. The aspect that makes it the "next generation" of Marshall and larger portable speakers is its multi-directional sound. With more speakers, the sound comes out, leaving poor sound quality on the sides. This speaker has really improved on that over the previous generation. Of course, if you stand behind it, it doesn't sound very good, but its directivity is impressive. One of the Bose's I have has 360 degree sound, which is a really cool feature, but the sound quality and performance on this Bose isn't as good as the Tufton. In terms of volume, this portable speaker is a real eye-catcher. This will fill my store with sound and you won't lose sound quality at higher volumes. It competes with Woburn, a non-portable speaker. Where does this speaker fit in terms of use? It's probably not ideal for your kitchen while you're cooking. There are just too many speakers. But to place it in your shop, on the street by the fire, by the lake or at a party is ideal. I have a 3,000 square foot store and it fills it with rich sound. This speaker is too expensive. I was able to get mine for sale here at Revain and saved a bit at $399. Honestly at this price point you have a lot of choices. But if you're looking for a great-sounding portable speaker with room-filling audio and great battery life, I think you should skip the review.
