I have ordered 3 top car air purifiers and they are NOT comparable to this one. a filter that restricts the available intake air. I'm happy to say it wasn't a problem. In fact, I was surprised when I turned it on at how much stronger it is than the others, and then realized I hadn't even turned it on yet. At LOW it has more power than the others at max. Then I realized I could turn on the ionizer to make an even bigger difference to create that crisis feeling of air you get afterwards. Rain. If I had to say something about it, I would like it to be different, it would be that it only has a fixed cigarette lighter plug and no possibility of using it in the house socket. The appearance is elegant and professional. It's a little bigger than others I've tried. Touch controls allow you to feel and look modern. Not like that homemade air purifier you pulled out of the attic to try and make something work. I can't tell if the scientific claims they make are true or not because I don't even know how to verify that. But I can say it feels like it does everything I expected and more. If you are hesitant to buy this I would say by all means do it. Don't waste time with others you will return to anyway. That's what you get
