Have used the dehydrator several times. It worked great with fruit. Vegetables are a bit difficult. Food falls through the mesh holes. I wish they were smaller. They give you silicone sheets for smaller items, but the sheets are about 1 inch smaller than wire baskets. This limits the amount of food you can withdraw and reduces volume. The food slides a lot on the sheets making it difficult to handle. For this reason I would not buy it again. I ordered another liner to see if that would help. Very quiet.
