Review on πŸ’‘ Convenient Furniture Recessed Power Strip with USB and 6.56ft Power Cord by Juan Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks like it comes with the sofa

We have a nice pull out sofa in the living room with medium storage and cup holders. The only thing missing was the ability to charge our controllers while playing. This power strip has 2 USB ports that can be used for it. I don't think we'll be using sockets very often, but it's good to have them just in case. The cord wasn't long enough to reach the outlet, but I fixed that with an extension cord. Our cut has a huge corner wedge, without which it would certainly have been enough. Easy to install. You'll need some tools to cut through the material you're installing the outlet into. For me it was a thick plastic basket in the middle of the sofa. Cut out the round hole with a drill and then with a jigsaw until it goes through the hole I measured. Many reviews of these products (not just this particular power strip) mention USB ports that fail or outlets that stop working. I'll be monitoring this to make sure it's still working and amending my rating accordingly.

Pros
  • Recessed desktop power outlet with always-on USB. Output power: 120V/12A USB ports: 5V/2.1A Frequency: 60Hz
Cons
  • Annoying
