Unfortunately this was a broken pair of shoes. I took it with me on a trip to Europe a few days after receiving it. I noticed the rivet fell apart after a few uses so I stopped wearing it and decided to return it when I get back to the States. Well, I seem to have missed the deadline to return this item. It was during my trip to Europe so I was stuck with a broken pair of shoes. The rivet itself hasn't come out of the boot yet, but it's only a matter of time. I also took a new pair of Keen Voyageurs with me on the trip. Three or four days after I got back from my trip, one of my shoelaces snapped. This pair has also expired, so I'm stuck with a second pair of defective Keens. One pair was worn 2-3 times, the other about a month. Keen has been my favorite shoe for many years, but I need to rethink that strategy. Having 0 out of 2 on my recent purchases and not being able to return two apparently defective pairs of shoes is not like me. Either I was very unlucky with these two pairs, or Keen's quality control went down the drain.
