These are pretty good shoes close to 5 stars. That's why I only give 4 points: The toe box and overall width are a bit wide and take some getting used to. The insert has some odd indentations or outlines in the shape of a foot and toes. I don't know why they did it because it's no use. But I feel these depressions, and they also take time to get used to. It feels like your toe has a crease, but the contour of your toe is pressed into the insole. This is my second pair. Nice wide toe box - no toe jamming. Minimum heel height. Solid outsole (very low profile but not a problem) that is durable. Disclaimer: I use PowerStep insoles in all my running shoes including this one. I wore the previous ones for years, including to work, until they literally fell apart. I wear them to work every day in the summer. I hope Keene keeps this model.

I have bought and enjoyed many boots and shoes from Keen over the years but this is my second return to this particular item. They were defective right out of the box with ripped/torn stitching down the side. I will try to order directly from Keen to see if I can get a better result. Very disappointed, especially for the price!

It's hard to find a good pair of shoes that fit. For some reason companies have made a huge mess of sizes and measurements. This pair fit perfectly and I didn't have to go for a size 12.

Only wear these shoes for indoor work. Stands most of the time. The soles of the shoes fall off. Not even a year. Not acceptable considering the price.

Keen makes good shoes but I found it depends on what style you buy. This style is well preserved. Over the years I've acquired a variety of styles, some lasting and others not very long at all.

Those are good shoes. Spacious in the toe area and designed for high loads. Thick leather so they need to be broken in. The shoes did not arrive in the original packaging and had a few scuffs. Water and a microfiber cloth removed the scratches.

Complaints from other people that the tongue of the shoe is very hard and uncomfortable are quite real. I found pulling the laces out of the top eyelet was much more convenient and only took a few days to break in. The shoes are very comfortable and very comfortable.

The outsole is very stiff and the insole doesn't have the stiff arch support of all my other Keen shoes. But they are waterproof. That is what I needed.

These are my shoes! But the company must have tweaked it a bit because it's definitely narrower and the arch support isn't that good. I will not send them back because it would cost me more but be aware.

Nice thick leather, well constructed and oddly very comfortable for what looks like a baked potato. These shoes will most likely outlive you.

The toe box is wide, which is what we were looking for and would be great, except the rest of the shoe doesn't come in large sizes; too narrow.

The leather part that wraps around the back of the heel/leg is so stiff I can't believe anyone is wearing it. It was honestly painful on my Achilles tendon. I have bought several pairs of Keen shoes in the past but none of them have been this uncomfortable.

The shoes have caused bleeding under the inside of my ankles, I've been wearing them for 3 weeks hoping to break them in but they just aren't comfortable. A little padding in the ankle area would be ideal, as socks do not cut in.

Great shoe that will last a long time. Well made and can take a beating before it wears out. Pros: durable. Gives good support. Allows the use of an insert of your choice. beautiful appearance. Cons: Eyelets tend to wear out laces. Shoes stretch after long wear.

The last pair I bought had a removable insole insert - they have a removable insert - but there is nothing but stitching! Old (last) shoes bought above are new ones from below.

Walking in these shoes is like walking in clogs. The sole is very hard. I bought these shoes with the intention of using them for traveling and hiking, but I find that they are more suitable for mountain/desert/rocky ground or country walking than for city or travel. Although the inside of the shoe is soft, it's very comfortable and generally of good quality.

When the item arrived I thought I made a bad choice. I have Keen sandals and I really like them. The shoes arrived and they were stiff. I still wear them to work. I don't know if the shoes cushioned the heat from my feet but they were very comfortable. I like the design around the toes where the shoes don't pinch them. Bargain.

Bought these for my 92 year old dad 4 years ago and he wore them EVERY day. He has mallet fingers, which are very painful and very comfortable for him.

It's like my fourth pair of these shoes, I can walk in them and do almost anything! They are durable, supportive, water resistant and typically last 2 years of constant wear. Worth every penny in my book. My only complaint was with the laces as they tend to come undone and fray quite often. However, on my latest pair, the laces appear to be made of a different material.
