As many have said this seems to work fine with a single light source. I was trying to install a bunch of sensors in my pontoon. However, I was able to get it to work, which meant eliminating all other sensor-related reasons and only the hot one, so only 1 loop. It seemed that he could not withstand the strain. There was an awful hum during operation and even in the off position it seems like there is still power going to my sensors in low light as well as with the ignition on. I removed it from my loop and everything works fine now. Unfortunately it didn't work for me and the switch doesn't seem to be able to handle certain loads.
