This was fairly easy to install (note the shaft is very short so get a longer one if you need it to go through thicker material) and worked as advertised, but after a short few months (and probably 10 uses) it stopped working properly. The lights first started flickering when you made them brighter and now they only reach 30-40% brightness. I'll probably get a replacement just to make sure it fits where the previous dimmer was. I'll keep you updated if I just had a defect.

Read carefully. To use this dimmer you need to run a wire from it through the walls and ceiling to get to the lights you want to dim. Yes as a dimmer this is a good product. But its introduction to wiring in a motor home is dubious. To use it you must have both a positive and negative signal from the LED. Think of it as a loop. You can't just take the positive (load) side of a toggle switch in an RV and find a negative or ground terminal nearby. You should find the minus of the LED you want to dim. As many have said this seems to work fine with a single light source. I was trying to install a bunch of sensors in my pontoon. However, I was able to get it to work, which meant eliminating all other sensor-related reasons and only the hot one, so only 1 loop. It seemed that he could not withstand the strain. I originally ordered 2 of these for my van conversion. One of them had a negative wire, soldered and fell out of the dimmer making it impossible to use, and the other had some kind of short circuit and wasn't working properly.
