This is a charging/data station. For 920XT. It should charge and sync your watch. To do this, you need to connect it to your computer (or to a USB power source if you only charge your watch). It's pretty easy. It does these things. Original Garmin product. It doesn't trim your bangs or cut your best mile by 5 seconds. But it will charge your watch. You have Garmin because you want something that just works and is reliable. If you need a second charging cable (maybe one for home and one for the office), stop reading reviews and buy one. If you don't have a 920XT, don't buy it.
