Shortlisted Best But Most Expensive

My wife and I (poultry farmers) have had this scope for about a year now. Love it. An excellent combination of reasonable weight and size with excellent optics and comfortable vision. It comes with a well-made protective cover that allows you to use the scope on a tripod without removing the cover. The only limitation we have is that the scope is quite expensive. There are other brands that are also expensive and have a reputation for quality. After trying several scopes we settled on this one and will do it again after field use. The only thing we soon found problematic was that "finding" the desired object with the angled eyepiece and the "finder" line pointing to the scale didn't help. We found a solution: I made a mount for a Leupold 10x20x-40mm compact scope over the Kowa and used it as a finderscope. See photos on the Revain product page. (This photo is also on the Revain Leupold product page with explanations.) We recently purchased a Celestron 52303 Regal Refraktor 100mm which is a great scope for the price.
