Repeat Buyer: Forks and Accessories

This is the fourth bike I've installed them on and I love them. Get more precise steering and less roll under braking. When measuring new pads, keep in mind that after the first 100 miles, these springs sag between 1/4" and 3/8". I measure the length of my fork with stock springs and then cut out spacers that make the forks 1/4 inch longer when new springs are installed. The springs will settle and you will return to standard length after 50-100 miles. If you want to lower the front end, don't do it by cutting shorter spacers. Instead, loosen the triple clamps and slide the shaft down the forks, then tighten securely. This lowers the front end without changing the spring preload. .
