As the owner of the game base, I don't find it aesthetically pleasing to place a TV on it. That's why I bought this stand and I'm glad I did. The stand looks great with the gaming stand and hangs smoothly over it. It was a bit difficult for me to put it together at first because it comes with a bunch of extra screws and washers (which I didn't realize at first). but this is to ensure it can connect to many different TVs). Once I figured out I had to find screws that matched my TV to attach it to the bracket, it was all pretty easy (this is my first time ever having to mount a TV). The cable management system is really neat and works well. The stand is strong. The TV can be raised or lowered, but this requires loosening and tightening 2 screws each time. Your TV is on it.
