Review on πŸ‘£ CURAD Performance Series Ironman Ankle Support – Removable Stays, Adjustable Brace for Right or Left Ankle, Mild to Moderate Sprains by Broderick Shetler

Great support but doesn't fit in regular running shoes

I had an ankle injury that was intermittently painful for about two years. When it starts to flare up I usually put on a cheap ankle brace I got a few years ago. This brace is thin and provides minimal support. This bracket is much better. For starters, there are plastic feet on either side that can be removed, meaning you can have as much support as you like. My problem is usually that I twist my ankle, so I usually only wear the outside when I put my shoes on. When I'm in the house I just wear a corset on both sides. It offers incredible support and I can feel the difference after wearing it for a few days. I only have a few complaints, but they are minor. First, it's too big to fit comfortably in regular shoes, even with one of the legs removed. Hiking shoes are fine, but sneakers just don't work. Second, there are two straps that wrap around the base of the foot just above the ankle. The first strap is too big for my (normal) foot. So when I undo the second strap, it curls up and can cause chafing on long walks. This is by no means a deal breaker, but I thought I should throw them in here.
