Works great, not nice.
HEI distributors work incredibly well, if ugly. This was no exception. If you value function over form, this is the ignition for you. Installation was very easy, starts and works great. I recommend this to anyone who cares more about driving an old car than bragging about it. The only downside is that the lid is standard GM and they are big. If you attach a large diameter air filter to anything, it will get in the way.
