Review on ⏰ Sharp Digital Alarm Clock with Dual Power Outlets, Surge Protection, and Rapid USB Charging Port (Blue/Green) by Angela Smith

I have had the same alarm clock for ten years now. It worked and everything. I recently decided to change the watch to increase functionality. I've seen this watch with two power outlets and a USB port on the front to accomplish this. My headboard lets cords through and the outlet is behind my bed. Despite having an extension cord coming out the side, it was awkward at times to charge my phone or use other electronics in bed. This watch should solve that problem. The watch is good and the display is very bright and easy to read. At night it gave off a nice red glow which had the added benefit of being a night light. I checked USB on my phone. Charging my phone puts out 3A. I was worried that USB wouldn't be enough for 2A, but I was wrong. My phone charged well and I found the connector to be a snug fit so I didn't have to worry about it accidentally coming loose. Two sockets were good and a quick test worked. It's nice that there's a switch at the top to turn it on or off I suppose if you want something like a light. Another plus is the fork. While it's not a big deal, they're flat and the plug comes out the side, making it easy to share sockets. My only complaint and the reason I gave this watch 4 stars instead of 5 is the alarm itself. My previous alarm clock had that awkward and all-too-familiar buzzer sound that can wake you from the depths of your deepest coma. This alarm clock is more like a PC speaker with a gentle tone that may or may not wake you up. When it worked, I was already being woken up by my cell phone, which had a much more reliable alarm clock. I'll try to set this alarm clock rather than a last resort. I've seen other alarm clocks with similar functionality - sockets, USB etc - but I liked that look a lot more and I felt Sharp would inspire a lot more confidence than a random brand on Revain. I will give this watch some time and hope it performs like my other watches.
