Unfortunately has glare but otherwise very nice.

I am an artist and I bought this to protect my freshly finished desk surface.
Its a good quality thick and well made desk protector however.I work under lamps- probably like most people at desks and the shiny surface of the plastic glares the light in my eyes. I also frequently set up flat-lay photos on my desk and this glossy finish prevents me from filming or taking photos of art on my desk surface.Sadly I had to return it.

Does not provide any cushioning for tableware and dishes
