Definitely worth trying them out.

I'll start with; I used to work in a photo studio and frame shop. The framing (frame + passepartout) of a photo is expensive. I already had four 16x20 frames that I wanted to use for the gallery wall and if I could get them all in professional frames, oh oh. Pros: Very good quality mats, not flimsy or cheap feeling. You get 10 of these, so if you only need a few (four in my case), you'll have a spare. The cheapest rug I found was Michael's at $8.99. So if you really need 10 rugs, spend $89. Of course, they have coupons, but you understand that I think you will spend more than these. Cons: The pictures may be disconcerting but let me explain - out of 10 only one front was visibly damaged. It had a tear that I was able to close with clear tape, I hope it won't be noticeable in the future when I use it, but if not I still think it's not a bad deal. a bluish stain on the back of one, not visible from the front, so still usable. Eventually all mats had at least two edges that were crumpled. In general I would say if you are just using them at home, for a project (for art school or whatever) or even for a photographer to show your work then I would say yes. This is definitely a very good buy for you. If you're a professional photographer selling framed prints to clients, for example - no, probably not. In the event that your client changes the pressure within this framework, he will see that his mat is damaged and (someone will not be indifferent to this, but someone will not) he can get upset. I would suggest the seller maybe find a better way to wrap your rugs, you could use a better material (in this case it was in a smaller box and they were all wrapped in saran wrap) around those edges possibly not to damage and not tear up the mats. Or use a large box to wrap in bubble wrap. As a result, they do not crease at the edges during transport. You could raise the price by a few dollars and people would still be getting a really good deal. In general I'm happy. Make sure you use them for a school project or need them to have enough time in case you need to return them for new ones.
