Although it's getting harder and harder to find a cassette, I still use a VCR (part of the DVD.VCR combo.) for performances to record. It's quick, easy, and the tape can be used countless times with no loss of quality as long as you use quality tape. This is where Maxell comes in. I've been using Maxell VHS tapes for many, many years and have had no problems. And because of the relatively low additional costs, I have always opted for high grade or better tape. I can't count the number of times I've used a single band, but it easily runs into the hundreds, possibly thousands. However, the Maxell HG tape has never failed!
