Not as great as it could be, but still damn good.

When I first opened it I was a bit disappointed. It literally looks like brightly colored computer paper and honestly doesn't look that "old" at all. I have paper to fill my shadow book, so my paper has to be able to stand up to pen and ink. The thinness of this paper bothered me, but I gave it a try anyway. I didn't hold back, I pressed normally with the pen and poured in a normal amount of ink as if using it for more than just a test run. My pen tends to snag on most types of paper, but it wrote smoothly on this paper. When I turned the paper over to see how much it bled, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it bled no more than a regular pen on standard lined paper. Yes I can see something was written on the other side of the page but I can't see what was written and the impression or ink on the front doesn't interfere with what I would have written on the back of the page. For the price it's definitely not bad and I'll buy it again as I need a lot of paper for my project. But I'm deducting a star because I need to age this paper a bit more and it's not as thick as I thought it would be. Overall though, it's worth buying again as it will stand up to what's being used on it (like my pen and ink).

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
