Large Medieval/Renaissance Paper

This paper is great. We have a renaissance style wedding and we used this paper for our invitations. We rolled them up and sealed them with wax to match the theme. They look like old parchment and are a bit thicker than regular printer paper, but they went through the printer with no problems. I really liked that I could put them in the printer because it sped up the whole process.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Good paper for calligraphy

The first picture is this paper; second, Southworth, which I bought on the spot. This paper still allows for some ink bleed, but it's definitely better than the Southworth paper. I used a Sheaffer Bold calligraphy fountain pen. However, it bleeds more than my old Southern Value Paper (which, as I don't calligraph that much, hasn't been for a number of years), so I can't give it 5 stars. This paper is not lined - I have a printer that makes lined paper.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No achievement

Not the weight of the card, regardless of the # specification.

The weight of the paper seems to be for entertainment purposes only. My carbon paper says 22# but this says 60#. A simple deduction says it should be nearly 3 times heavier. I realized that this is not the weight of the card (as stated in the description) but something in between. It's not relevant. It's as thin as any carbon paper. The paper weight is determined by the untrimmed size and you need craftsmen or a lot of experience to understand it. Now I'm sitting here with 60# paper, which I…

Not as great as it could be, but still damn good.

When I first opened it I was a bit disappointed. It literally looks like brightly colored computer paper and honestly doesn't look that "old" at all. I have paper to fill my shadow book, so my paper has to be able to stand up to pen and ink. The thinness of this paper bothered me, but I gave it a try anyway. I didn't hold back, I pressed normally with the pen and poured in a normal amount of ink as if using it for more than just a test run. My pen tends to snag on most types of paper, but it…
