Good travel companion

This is a great travel companion. I never use the coffee maker in hotels because I can't trust the housekeepers. I heard too many horror stories about the cleanliness of hotels. I always bring a travel water kettle. This is certainly a new generation of travel water kettles. This is very compact when you fold it down. It does not take up much space and it is not heavy. This is great for boiling hot water for tea, coffee, baby formula, cup noodles. I guess you can boil eggs in it too or use it to heat up food if you don't mind washing it. I would just stick to boiling water so I don't have to worry about washing it.Pros:*I like the stainless steel bottom and silicone body. These are much better than the older generation of travel water kettles which are usually aluminum inside and plastic outside.*foldable, compact*Simple operation. There is only 1 knob with 4 settings. 1. Heat preservation (Keep warm), 2. Tea, 3. Coffee, 4. Ebullience (keep it boiling.*Cord is detachable. Make it less bulky to store and easier to wash or to take it to the sink to fill it up with water.* Fast heating/boiling.*bag is included to keep the cord and kettle together.Cons/area of improvement:*This is marketed as a kettle for travel. They should have a plug that automatically switches between 110V and 220v like our cellphone charger. It can be damaged (or cause fire or jump the fuse box) if you forgot to plug it into a 220v outlet with a voltage converter.*It does not tell you the water temperature. I have to bring a thermometer if I want a precise temperature.Overall, I like this travel kettle and will bring it to my next trip.
