Dance party in my kitchen

In the kitchen we installed one main and three auxiliary Pulse LED lights. The sound is pretty good - as with any portable bluetooth speaker. We started with a main and a satellite and I feel like the two extra satellites we added really helped round out the sound and make it fuller. The lamps have the same diameter as the E26 bulbs we previously used in these downlights. , but the impulses are a bit longer so they don't sit flush with the ceiling. They hang about 1/2" lower than our standard bulbs, but I don't think so that someone would notice if they weren't looking. The color is almost identical to the "soft white" LED bulbs we've used before and matches the four that are still in this room the. The system was easy to set up and connect to the iPhone. We haven't had any pairing issues and haven't had to do any updates/changes/resets in the month we've had them. The only (minor) annoyance is that when the light is first turned on, the bulbs play a short audible tune and they reconnect to the mains. It doesn't matter, but the sound will be transmitted to nearby bedrooms, so if someone turns on the kitchen light in the middle of the night or early in the morning, everyone can hear it. However, this is not enough to stop us from using them. We have too much fun throwing impromptu dance parties. Photo: 1) Ceiling photo with a standard E26 soft white light bulb on the left and a flash on the right. The light color is basically identical. 2) The top image shows the floor lamp flush with the ceiling, the bottom image shows how far the Pulse lamp hangs. 3) Photo showing the height difference between a Pulse lamp (left) and a standard lamp (right).

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION: Install in standard E26 sockets or fittings, download the iOS/Android app and set up. Fits 5" to 6" diameter recessed lights (requires 4" socket extension)
