I've had it for over 3 years and now it's approaching 4 years. And it's really starting to peel and peel off. It's still not too bad and still does the job as a nice soft protective case. To be honest it only peels around the taps and especially where the jackholes are. Everything else still looks perfect, with some minor fading around the edges. I realized I had brought this case before and turned pink. And judging by my order history, it took me four years to decide to buy new. So it corresponds to its durability and its content. I'm not entirely sure what happened to the pink case, but I may be thinking the same thing I am thinking now, but with more clumsiness since I was a lot more active and busy than I was in college. I'm thinking about getting a new one, but I can hold out a little longer. The location of the nest on the case doesn't particularly bother me. I usually just leave it alone when charging or just use my wireless headphones.
