This headset is definitely unique. A real gem dedicated to the Xbox experience. I like it a lot, although it comes with inherent compromises. ADVANTAGES: - The sound is extremely immersive and of excellent quality. - Fully wireless Xbox chat headsets are rare to find in this quality. No more microphone cables! The Xbox-specific connectivity built into this headset looks exquisite, with no noticeable lag. Amazing comfort. Maybe where you get lost in the soundscape for several hours unnoticed -Keys work as expected. It is very easy to turn on the microphone. Has clear voice communication. The maximum volume is just right and the sound effects at high volume are clear. No cracking or popping. - New from HyperX, one of the most sophisticated Xbox-licensed headsets on the market. - Good signal strength, clear distance and ease of use. - Windows Sonic for Headphones shows speaker quality perfectly. Prepared and ready to go! There is likely forward compatibility with the next Xbox generation. CONS: No 3.5mm analog audio/mic jack, limiting use for Xbox and Windows 10 via USB wireless receiver or USB cable. Only. - The battery has no visual or acoustic indicator. You have no idea how much battery is left. It shows as connected to an Xbox, but the battery bar is dead by default. The headset itself does not announce volume levels, unlike other brands. The button interface replaces the on-screen interface for switching chat/game volume. for CloudX! Same goes for you Microsoft Driver Engineers! Overall: if you're looking for a light-hearted headset that's refined and designed to enhance the Xbox experience, this headset is a delight. It has a new look and feels like a collector's item (it combines all the features and qualities of all HyperX Xbox headsets except the analog ones). I needed a headset designed for my Xbox and it's rare to find a truly compatible product of this caliber outside of Microsoft. It's designed for portability, and the audio quality/timing and headset feel seems improved for that purpose. I gave it 5 stars because the cons are only cons if you expect the headset to be used for almost anything as Xbox charges a high price for its high quality proprietary technology. This "compatibility barrier" that CloudX overcomes is a product of the difference in quality standards between PS4 and Xbox! I use more professional non-Xbox Business headphones. It doesn't take long to charge and the battery life lasts so long that the lack of a battery indicator hardly occurs to me because they're so much fun. I still drain the batteries to extend their life. Make no mistake with this if you love Xbox!
