Review on ACDelco Silver 14795B Bonded Drum Brake Shoe Set: Superior Rear Performance with Lever by Paul Haswood

ACDelco 14795B should fit a 2008 Chevy Cobalt with a 9.06 drum. The shoes I received didn't fit, the 9.085 twist drum didn't fit the shoes on the lowest setting. You can sand about 1/32nd of the footprint, but you will most likely still have problems because the pad radius is too large for the drum, causing the pad contact point to be on the outside edges of the pad rather than the center. resulting in shoes wiggling with excessive pulling and squeaking. This problem is not unique to ACDELCO, went to the local dealership and bought Raybesto's 795pg boots. My chiseled Maxxed drum barely fit and was too tight. If I had a new 9.06 drum it wouldn't fit. got them and went to autozone and bought some duraplastic shoes, they fit great. I think the problem is that some manufacturers make these shoes in 9.06 instead of 9.06 which should be smaller than 9.06 otherwise the shoes won't fit. I miss my return date so I lost some money on this purchase.
