Review on FLOW 15 Aquarium LED Light by Mary Yergeau

Update 2/2021: ok everything I said before is true except it's 'great'. We have a problem with green algae. A few months later I contacted biorb and tried reducing feeding to once a day (we only have 1 beta so we don't have a lot of fish or food), stopped using lights (which is frustrating because we opt for MCR decided). for colored lights) and only use them 0-2 hours a day after sunset (sometimes we forget it and don't light it, and sometimes it's on at noon time, so not that long). We have upgraded to an algae filter in addition to our regular filter. I do everything exactly as they recommend and after about 2 weeks the filter is changed, walls, windows and the entire facility is covered with green algae again. Since then I've been asking Amazon about the experiences of others and I'm not the only one with this problem. So this is a nice display aquarium, but it doesn't tolerate algae very well. Be prepared to clean the aquarium at the beginning of each month (perhaps by week 3) and spend about an hour pulling everything out, cleaning everything, then putting everything back in. in. This is an investment of time and money as filters do not come cheap. Also my MCR indicator stopped working for 6 months and the company replaced it really well which is a plus but it still shouldn't have happened and hopefully it was an accident and won't happen again like they did. It's cheap after the warranty has expired. Initial Review (purchased 8/2021): We invested in this (8 gallon with multi colored lights) as we wanted it to be able to be displayed in our kitchen. I read a lot of reviews and had some concerns but so far everything has been great. The filter motor is very quiet on its own, if it touches something else it will vibrate but it is easy to control. The tank is easy to set up. The amount of gravel is sufficient, although we wanted a layer of paint we added a few extra large stones. We bought one of the pre-built tank kits which was very good value and almost too big for a tank. It has 3 large plants, 1 paddock in the middle, 2 outdoor plants, 3 starfish and 3 shells. The multicolored lighting is really fun, I would recommend it as it looks amazing, especially against the white tank. There's some distortion at the rounded corners if that's important to you, but it doesn't matter to me. Would recommend if you are looking for a great little aquarium, nice and quiet.
