Caution - can be dangerous for Plecos :(

I just bought this lovely tank for my favorite beta fish 'Moonie' and blue eyed albino pleco 'Sunny'. Poor Sunny was killed by this tank because I turned off the central air tube overnight because it was too turbulent for my beta fish. Sunny would crawl into the tube at night and couldn't get out. This morning I found Sunny dead in the tube. Although this tank is nice, easy to set up and seems to be pretty easy to clean it's also very hectic for a beta so i have to shut off the air to feed my…

It's not perfect, but still very cool!

I was hesitant to buy this tank top but my cock LOVES it. I put it up before I bought it so I was afraid I would put it on and it wouldn't give a damn about blisters; It turns out he loves playing with them. The current was a bit strong at first, so I took a piece of filter sponge and stuck it in the bottom of the dragonfly. Since then my little Ghibli has been swimming just fine. The tank is nice and serves its purpose as intended. Cleaning can be tricky with a small hole and a lot of gravel…

but they were ok. The amount of substrate contained is not quite sufficient.

I've waited to write a review until I've used it for a few months. 1) I was concerned the substrate would be too hard for my fish but they were fine. The amount of substrate contained does not completely cover the filter, but that doesn't bother me. If you are unhappy with the substrate, you can always buy a cheap replacement. 2) The hole in the fish tank is smaller, but it is not difficult to clean. 3) I was disappointed, the light is very bright and has no brightness settings. The chord…

I'm honestly undecided.

This tank is absolutely beautiful, echoes my favorite design but I may have fallen into a money hole. Not just the tank itself, but everything you need for it. I read the specs several times before I bought it and when I brought it home and started reading I couldn't use the sand I bought and the bubbler and automatic fish feeder. I would save my money on these products if the manual was included in the specs. Also, you have to use a special filter for this tank and change it every 4-6 weeks…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • poorly thought out

An attractive but impractical tank with an inefficient filtration system.

I grew up with a lot of different aquariums. Saltwater, freshwater, 50 gallon, 150 gallon etc. I know this aquarium is more difficult to maintain due to its small size. But come on! I put him on a fish free cycle for at least 6 weeks with no natural light whatsoever. Although the filter worked all the time, the water remained cloudy. The entire substrate was thoroughly rinsed before addition and the water was initially crystal clear but soon became cloudy and remained so for almost 2 months…

Please do not put a faucet in this aquarium

I bought this aquarium for my faucet. This aquarium is a bad choice for Bettas: 1. Bettas don't like strong currents; The fish cannot get away from the current in this aquarium because it is centralized.2. Clay rocks are harmful to the delicate fins of bettas (they cut my fingers just touching them) and even if you cover them with other rocks they create water quality that is very drying to skin and fins.3. The light at the top of the tank is so bright my betta couldn't see its food. If you…

Low maintenance High relaxation

I love the style and design of the Oase Living Water aquariums from the BiOrb aquarium collection. This is my first BiOrb FLOW tank. And my first Betta! (I always had schools of fish when I was a kid). It was very easy to set up. Just follow the simple step-by-step pictures. I bought a few different plant accessories instead of a decoration set to have a more personal look. Once installed, the water should circulate for 24 hours, so do not go to the new fish tank until the BiOrb is ready. I…

Nice though. best in aquariums and aquariums

Update 2/2021: ok everything I said before is true except it's 'great'. We have a problem with green algae. A few months later I contacted biorb and tried reducing feeding to once a day (we only have 1 beta so we don't have a lot of fish or food), stopped using lights (which is frustrating because we opt for MCR decided). for colored lights) and only use them 0-2 hours a day after sunset (sometimes we forget it and don't light it, and sometimes it's on at noon time, so not that long). We have…
