I've waited to write a review until I've used it for a few months. 1) I was concerned the substrate would be too hard for my fish but they were fine. The amount of substrate contained does not completely cover the filter, but that doesn't bother me. If you are unhappy with the substrate, you can always buy a cheap replacement. 2) The hole in the fish tank is smaller, but it is not difficult to clean. 3) I was disappointed, the light is very bright and has no brightness settings. The chord protrudes prominently from the top, and I'd like it to be more prominent and built into the tank. Also, in my aquarium, the light is covered with algae and needs regular cleaning. 3) Aquarium gear isn't that expensive, especially if you buy something that's compatible but not the biOrb brand. Overall I would recommend the aquarium, especially if you like the design as much as I do.
