Review on FLOW 15 Aquarium LED Light by Kim Fukushima

I love the style and design of the Oase Living Water aquariums from the BiOrb aquarium collection. This is my first BiOrb FLOW tank. And my first Betta! (I always had schools of fish when I was a kid). It was very easy to set up. Just follow the simple step-by-step pictures. I bought a few different plant accessories instead of a decoration set to have a more personal look. Once installed, the water should circulate for 24 hours, so do not go to the new fish tank until the BiOrb is ready. I decided to get a Betta because an expert from Petco Fish said my 5 gallon tank wasn't big enough for anything else. (I didn't want a goldfish because I know the filter needs to be changed more often). This is how Betta should live! He seems much happier than in a bowl of still water. The pump works so hard that it immediately bounces off the table and keeps going. It's long enough to reach the carpet from the TV stand the tank is on, so I wrapped a sock noise around it (like another buyer said) and it's barely audible when it's against a wall ;) So hurry up to my first complete water change. yes, I had to change the water and filter completely after only 4 months, as the instructions for the Aqueon betta food say that feeding 2-3 times a day is enough to be eaten in 2 minutes. Algae was starting to grow on everything so I added some cherry shrimp to clean it up a bit. (Shrimp are the only other aquatic species that the Betta doesn't kill). I went back to Petco to see if there were any drops to speed up killing the algae and when Rybka saw my photo she said my betta was bloated and she shouldn't see any fish poo. So the overfeeding was causing the algae to run rampant and having big white rocks on the front and ceramic material on the back you could really see how Brixton was doing his thing if you know what I mean , so I decided to start first. fresh. I removed the large topiary because it was taking up too much space. Brixton is now on a more appropriate diet as long as he only eats 3 small bites once a day. I'll update, it's time for a partial water and filter change, ;)
