Before purchasing this item I had a learning experience related to some of the reviews listed for this product. BEFORE I bought Desk York, I saw ads on social media for a similar product (not the same brand). After watching the ad for a couple of weeks, I was presented with a new ad for a quarter the price ($10), so I decided to buy it. I waited a week for her arrival, but that turned into almost 3 months! The product I received were thin aluminum bars that could hold an e-reader or tablet. It was NOT this product - so to those who say "I could get that for a small price" - be careful - what you think about, what you order and what you get is not always the same. My review is below and includes honest key points. NOW Desk York was available from Revain so I ordered it because I want to stand more while working from home. After waiting a few days for it to arrive I read the reviews for this product to see what others think of it. I was very surprised that people reported that they couldn't figure out how to use it and complained about it. The product I received proved to me that the negative reviews are not true. DESK YORK IS AMAZING! I've had Desk York for a few days now and have been testing it. I can place it on my desk while holding my keyboard or laptop, the top plate is made of durable metal with a sturdy ledge on the bottom edge of the platform that prevents my keyboard or laptop from sliding off. Awesome Feature #1! The legs are NOT entirely plastic but a mix of durable plastic and the same metal material that makes up the table's platform. The leg joints are not cheap (as seen in the pictures) and the fans are well sized and mounted under the platform. The hinges have knobs that push in to adjust and then lock securely when the next angle is found. Adjusting each leg is easy and the corners are clearly marked (see pics) which is great feature #2! Overall: The platform of this table is large. I have enough space for my laptop with a few inches on each side or even to fit a larger laptop on it. The fans are quiet, the table is solid, and the product comes with an instruction manual to help you find the right angles. The angles are very easy to find and adjust thanks to the integrated knobs on the sides (see photo). It easily holds light keyboards and heavy laptops. I will be buying another one through this seller for the holidays and upcoming birthdays after the new year. I will definitely recommend it to anyone interested! THANK YOU DESK YORK!
