So I was glad they were sold in a pack as I wanted more when I get migraines as the one I got as a gift stays cold for almost 12 hours and was hoping they would have the same effect so i can swap them out if i have a migraine that lasts a few days. At first glance the product looks like it's vacuum packed and you have to break the balls up and move them around before putting them in the water so they fill up properly. Otherwise the material may tear as all the balls will get stuck in one place. If you did everything right and then left them in the water; They fill the entire embroidered area. Now they don't stay very cold like you usually think. The feeling of being very cold can last 10-30 minutes max if you put them in the fridge or freezer which doesn't really serve the purpose I'm looking for. You will always be slightly cool; almost like a wet t-shirt, feels cool when beads are enlarged. But for me, staying cool or comfortable during a severe chronic migraine won't help me. As such, I would not recommend this brand to anyone trying to use it for migraines. If you're just looking for a quick cool down during a workout, take a walk outside of the gimmicks; they could possibly work for you. But other than that, I'd look elsewhere if you're hoping for a longer time.
