Economical for basic miniatures

I own a bunch of different miniature cases, and each one has a purpose. This case is pretty basic and pretty cheap, relatively, for decent quality. Most of the space in this case is in 2 pre-cut sections with very standard spaces for standard miniatures. Its a good fit for in-scale 28-32mm miniatures on basic bases. The rectangular space is good for carrying pretty varying miniatures, but nothing too flashy, wide, and sticky-outy.Conversely, there is a smaller foam section that has the pull-out bits to customize a space for other miniatures. It goes the full depth of the case and thus you can fit a bit more in those spaces. So if you have mostly basic sized miniatures and a few outliers, this should work pretty good to fit them into some foam spaces and give some protection. However, this has some caveats. The case is not particularly strong. It's a basic case with decent plastic and piano style hinges in the back. The walls are single layer, basic injection molded plastic. This is fine, and what I expected. They didn't try to pass it off as anything else, just realize this isn't going to be like the more serious cases in being able to take impacts and they can easily break with a sharp impact.I'm just going to use this for roleplaying game miniatures and accessories for playing the game, so this fits me just fine. There aren't enough spaces for most wargaming armies, especially exaggerated ones like Games Workshop, WarMachine/Hordes, etc. For skirmish games, this might be a pretty ideal size outside of more dedicated platforms.More nitpicky details: my case doesn't want to close flush. It's an issue with these types of cases, between pressures of foam and mis-aligned parts and the plastic itself, they often don't because there isn't any rigidity to the plastic and it's affected by stress and heat. I'm silly enough that I'll probably put it into some silly configuration of stuff and heat it with a heat gun and try to help it along, but. the piano hinge is actually not a piano hinge and held together using an integrated plastic rod and snapped together. I don't think I dare to try and fix that without losing the hinge. The top cover foam is glued into place, if that bothers you. The top case also shows an injection mark in the flat space near the bottom. Same for the rear face and at the top of the case, in the middle of the handle section, on both sides. Consistent, and not relevant, but some people care.Decent case, decent price, the right size for the right application. If you want a serious miniatures case, go spend the money on a serious case. Looking for something simple and small that doesn't break the bank? This might be the one.
