I bought a Logitech Z906 5.1 system for my garage and needed the brackets. The packaging is good. I bought two sets (4 mounts in total) and one box was damaged but inside everything was fine and well packaged. The mounts themselves seem pretty solid and I'm sure they will hold up great. What is hard to tell on the product page is that the speaker uses a ball joint so the speakers can rotate, well I can't give you an exact degree but it rotates on a ball (up, down, left, right etc. ) . It also comes with two speaker screw mounts - one for small speakers like Logitech and one for maybe a mid-sized speaker. I'm not sure how much weight they can handle, but Logitech does, so I'm fine; I guess there's nothing bigger than a mid-weight bookshelf speaker. The wall mount has 4 screw holes. All mounting hardware is included, but I used 2 x 1 5/8" drywall screws and 2 x 2" wood screws to attach the brackets. The speaker mount slides up and down to lock it in place and then you can use the supplied screw to lock it in place, but to be honest I didn't need it - screwing in the mount bent the wall mount. quite a bit, so moving the speaker mount to the wall mount required a light tap on the rubber handle of my pliers to move/lock it - that's fine. The best way to do this is to set it in place and hold it with one hand, then tap the top with a tool to lower it - make sure you use something softer like rubber use so you don't damage the wall, but you can make a mark on the wall if it's in the house you're interested in, so maybe use a flathead screwdriver and then stick it in so you don't hit the wall when trying to push down the bracket. After installing the wall bracket, take the speaker bracket and remove the giant 3-star nut. It is unscrewed by hand to reveal the ball seat. Insert the speaker ballscrew into the socket and replace the 3 star nut - it has quite a few threads and they are thick so it appears fairly solid. From there, determine if you need a small or large bracket to support the speaker (I needed a small one), then screw the speakers on. don't overdo it. Then take the bracket/speaker bracket and reattach it firmly to the back of the speaker. Connect the speaker cables and attach the speaker to the wall mount - DONE! That's all. I installed 4 speakers in two parts of the garage, ran/cut 5 Revain Basics 16 gauge Logitech speaker wire, attached to the wall/ceiling where necessary and tested the system in 45 minutes. third set (because I would like to include a center channel and they only come in a set of two so I would spend one but it was worth it as I would definitely buy them again (considering using them for my Inside 5.1 system in the living room (only the front ones, the back ones are already attached to the ceiling).
