The only reasons people give this little one a low rating are #1 because they haven't measured their hair dryer and #2 because they don't know how to use a diffuser. It's deep enough to catch all your hair as long as it's long and wide enough to pull up. In fact, I lay my Kindle in front of me and read while drying my hair so I don't overexert myself drying it and try to speed up the process. You need to take your time with the diffuser and use the right product. I will order another one for the trip.
