I wanted to buy a cheaper product but the reviews for some of the cheaper products didn't agree with me. Most of them stated that other products seem unreliable/cheap and don't always cool effectively. When I found this product and company online I was encouraged by the reviews and the evidence that KLIM cares about its customers. There we have several answers to questions/issues from customers who have suggested this. I have an MSI 15 inch gaming laptop and often play games while sitting in my chair with the laptop on a large book on my lap. The heat generated by the laptop was intense. The book got very hot and actually seeped through the book at my feet. This no longer happens when using this product and the air blown by the laptop fans feels noticeably cooler. I didn't take the temp before or after but I don't feel the need as this product seems to have achieved what I set out to achieve (happier/cooler laptop and knees!).
