I just installed this on my 2015 335xi with HK. For the price, it's almost the same as Bimmertech or other versions. All of them are installed in exactly the same way. There are many installation videos out there and you will want to use them because the instructions that come with this one are pretty much useless. In my car I had to run two fiber optic cables into a new bundle. It was just a clip and it was easy enough to do. I also have a larger head unit so the box doesn't just sit on top. I had to remove the glove box and slide the compartment into the side cavity to the right of the radio. Again, this is easy enough, just be prepared. But once inserted, it works pretty well. CarPlay syncs instantly, maybe faster than in-car Bluetooth. The sound quality is excellent and the screen and UI have been crystal clear so far. Switching between MMI idrive has worked flawlessly so far. Apple and Google Maps are so superior to any OEM navigation that it's not a problem. Nothing against BMW, the system looks good enough, but all standard navigation systems are junk. Routing, traffic subscriptions, map updates, etc. It's just a fact. Considering the competition is more than twice the price, this is a solid upgrade. It brought my "outdated" projector back to the 21st century lol.
